Scouting is your first line of defense against all sorts of insect and disease pests. We all know the basics of crop monitoring, but can you level up your scouting for a more reliably clean crop? This talk will provide tips and tricks learned from Dr. Jandricic's 25-year career working with ornamental growers and consultants.

Dr. Sarah Jandricic (Jan -DRIS- ick) is the Greenhouse Floriculture Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Specialist for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Agribusiness (OMAFA). She works directly with Ontario growers to help manage pest issues and find research solutions. She has worked continuously in floriculture IPM for over 25 years. As part of her current position, Sarah runs the ONFloriculture blog (ONfloriculture.com), to keep growers informed about recent pest control advances and issues facing the industry.
Sarah is stationed in Vineland, Ontario and can be reached at sarah.jandricic@ontario.ca.
