Henry Tillaart Sr.
The funeral mass for the founder of Dutchmaster Nurseries in Pickering, Henry Tillaart, Sr., will take place on Sat., Feb 22, at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 5633 Hwy. 7, in Markham.
Mr. Tillaart passed away peacefully at Taunton Mills Nursing Home, Whitby, on Wed., Feb. 19, at the age of 80.
He was the beloved husband of Frances, dear father of Michael (Michelle), Marlin (Carol Anne), Henry (Irma), Betty-Anne (Leigh) Gifford, Cindy (Jim) Mosher and Debbie, and grandfather of Matthew, Alicia, Leanna, Alex, David, Brian, Simon, Patricia, Brandon, Marco, Aaron and Connor and great-grandfather of Nolan and Abigail. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Visitation is Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North (Markham Rd.), Markham. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
